Khaki, Camel and Maroon

Hi everyone!

So this post is going to be about my favourite colours in fashion for this season, and as you can probably tell from the title, they're khaki, camel, and maroon.

These three colours are so on trend right now and I think these colours look so great together, as well as on their own and are perfect for this time of the year as well. I've been seeing these colours everywhere right now, and I've certainly been investing my money in some products in these colours too... So in this post I'll being showing what products I've been loving in these colours in particular, and hopefully you can take away some fashion inspiration from this as well :)

These first two pieces are examples of maroon, that are now a No 1 staple in my wardrobe for Autumn. I've been loving these two products and have practically been living in them for the past month. The first one is a ribbed, high neck long sleeve jumper from Peacocks, and it was only £14! I've been loving the long sleeve and high neck trend that's going on right now, and when I saw this jumper, I could not resist it! It's a knitted style which makes it perfect for Autumn, and it looks amazing tucked into black or dark navy high wasted skinny jeans, and then layered with a jacket if it's a bit colder.
The second item in this colour is very similar to the jumper. This is a long sleeve, ribbed and cropped top from H&M, which is at an amazing price of £7.99! Again, I have been loving this item and it is so easy to style too. Because this is a cropped top, I've been wearing it with high wasted jeans or a skirt that sits high on the waist because it's suddenly got quite chilly in England, so crop tops are no longer suitable with low wasted bottoms. Like the jumper, this looks great with black or navy bottoms as the colours really clash well together. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact colour on the website, but I'll insert a picture of it in grey instead, which I'm now thinking of going and buying as well... #shoppingadiction

Peacocks - £14                                                                       H&M - £7.99

Next is khaki items. I am well and truly obsessed with this colour, I just think that it just looks amazing with literally anything in your wardrobe. The first item that I have is a long line, sleeveless jacket/waistcoat from New Look, which was £22.99, although the one that I've linked is £19.99 as they didn't have the exact one that I bought in store on the website. The one that I have is a slightly darker in colour and is quite a thick cotton material. These sleeveless jackets are super easy to style, they look amazing over long sleeved tops and jumpers, and when paired with some stiletto heels or over the knee boots, they really elongate the legs and body, which gives off such a sexy and classy look.
Another item that I've been loving in this colour is utility shirts or jackets. Due to the colour, they really give off the military vibe, which has been really popular for most of the year. This one in particular that I've linked is again from New Look and is £24.99. I think that these look so great for when your going for a casual look, but at the same time can still look really put together. I tend to wear these shirts with leather look jeans and ankle boots to create that more rough and edgy look, which is still really on trend at the moment. If you want this look, but still want to look girly and more feminine, then an alternative can be a utility dress, which aren't hard to find as they're everywhere right now as well.

Last but not least is camel. This colour has just all of a sudden become so popular, and now it's everywhere in stores! Personally, I've been loving this colour in shoes, especially boots! If you have read my last blog post, you will know that I am seriously obsessed with Autumn/Winter boots, I don't know what it is, but, ughh, I just love them! This pair of ankle boots from asos are perfect for this time of year, not to mention that they look flawless! These are a matte leather, hence them being priced at £45, which I actually think is quite a good price for a leather product. These boots are a great hight to make your outfit look more put together than it would with wearing a pair of flats, and at the same time, are a comfortable hight to walk around in for the day too.
The last item in this post is a camel coloured coat. I love this coat, I've been in search of a new winter coat recently, and I've been loving this style. It's a casual fitting coat, yet it can really smarten up an outfit, whilst still looking casual enough for day to day wearing. This coat would great over anything, no matter if it's jeans or a skirt, they would look great together. I think this would also look amazing if it was worn with some over the knee boots and a denim shirt with some white skinny jeans. This coat is also textured, which is a style that I'm loving at the moment too.

Asos - £45                                                                                New Look - £29.99

So that concludes my post on these Autumn colours. I hope this post has given you some fashion inspiration and that you could go and create outfits incorporating these colours or products into it. Please share this with your friends and feel free to go and follow me on Instagram as well, because I'm always posting pictures on there :)

See you next time, Amber x

Autumn fashion essentials

Hi everyone!

Now I know in my last post that I said that I would start posting more regularly, but I kinda didn't stick to it... I blame my lack of posts on my awful procrastination habit. But anyway, I am back yet again.

So considering the fact that we are now well settled into autumn, or fall if you dont live in England, I thought that I would write about my fashion essentials for this season. Plus, the fact that I have a slight shopping addiction means that I now don't have to feel bad when I buy more things, because I can just tell myself that it's for my blog posts... ;)

So the first thing that I think is the biggest fashion staple for this time of year is a pair, (or more than one pair) of boots. One of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe is a good pair of Autumn/Winter boots, I just can't get enough of them, I am honestly obsessed! The best thing about these is that you can style them with just about anything in your wardrobe, whether it be jeans, skirts, leggings, jeggings, or even a dress if you're thinking of braving the cold weather, they just look so classic and chic. No matter what the style of the boot, whether they are ankle booties, long over the knee boots, leather, suede, flats or heels, they will never fail with making your outfit look amazing! Currently, I'm loving these boots from River Island, I'm really into the gold accent on the heel too.

River Island - £45

My next fashion essential for this season is a oversized knitted jumper, because who doesn't love one of these?! These are such a great item for Autumn and Winter, and are normally really affordable too, which is always a bonus ;) Again, these look great with just about anything, I love a big oversized jumper tucked into jeans or a skirt, or if I want a really casual look, I'll wear one un tucked with leggings or jeans. You can also really dress these up with a pair of heels, or just keep it casual with a pair of converse or some flats. I've recently been loving this speckled grey effect on jumpers, and this one from h&m is a brilliant price too :)

So they are just a couple of my Autumn fashion essentials, I do have loads more, but if I included all of them, this post would go on for far too long! I hope you liked this post, if you did please make sure to subscribe to my blog and follow me on Instagram as well :)

See you next time, Amber x
